Leonard is known for his preference for privacy regarding his personal life, and even based on what little is known about him, it’s hard to imagine that this video would have captivated his interest or influenced his decision-making. Unsurprisingly, the video failed to sway Leonard into joining the Knicks; in fact, it didn’t even lead him to consider a meeting with them. Yet, the Knicks persisted, sending similar videos to both Irving and Durant in their pursuit.
In stark contrast to Leonard, Kyrie Irving tends to share more about his personality than most fans might wish to know. It appears that Irving is not someone easily impressed by flashy recruitment tactics or hype-filled videos. Still, that didn't deter the Knicks from making their pitch.
